I was looking for a coat that would not only serve as a nice, cold-weather coat, but one that I could wear on dressier occasions as well. This coat serves both purposes well. It is very attractive and fits so well. (By the way, I ordered a Medium, which is a perfect fit for me. I’m a size 6, and I can wear heavy sweaters under the coat.) One item to note is that if you’re in Siberia or someplace where the temperatures are consistently low, you might want to consider another coat. While I think it’s just fine and warm enough for me, I live in North Carolina, so the temperatures are generally above freezing.
This coat is fabulous. When I first bought this last year, only the chocolate brown was available. It kept me very warm when I went snow tubing last winter. During the move this year, I lost it and now I am buying another one in black. I did a search for women’s coats and over 16,000 coats were available. I managed to look through about 100 pages worth (over 2000 coats), and this one seems to be the best. The jacket is worth more than the price I paid for it, so I am buying a second one today. Highly recommend!
